Does Botox treat Migraine Headaches? Botox, or botulinum toxin, is generally associated with the aesthetics field. But did you know that Botox® can also be an effective application to treat chronic migraines? At Empire Medical Training, we provide the most comprehensive Botox Training so you can learn the proper methods for treating patients who suffer from Migraine headaches. Approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Botox® offers relief for those individuals experiencing almost daily headaches that last for several hours or longer. Small amounts of Botox® are injected with a tiny syringe into various muscle areas on the head and neck, offering a preventative treatment for the headaches. The injections are repeated every 12 weeks for its efficacy. This preventative treatment has been successful in treating chronic migraine sufferers who have tried the Botox® treatment. Botox® injections offer an alternative to medications or other treatments that may not be working as effectively. Botox® has nearly 100 different uses however only a few are taught in seminars and classes around the United States. If you feel you are ready to give the Botox  Training a try, check out the Empire Medical Training list of upcoming workshop courses we offer in your area.
